Fiesta Bowl Parade

The last couple of years Ben and I along with a ton of our friends go to the fiesta bowl parade! Every year more and more people come! The more the merrier! This year there were lots of babies running around which was so much fun! It was oddly hot but the beach cruisers Ben and I got for Christmas made the trip outside worth it! We had so much fun cruising down Central with Harper! Can't wait till next year

Happy New Year!

Ben and I had a great New Years! It was a big night for the Scott Family. Harper had his first sleep over ever! I think I was more scared then he was! Harper rang in the new year at Gramcracker and Chombo's house! Ben and I actually had a very eventful night! New Years has always been a special night for Ben and I! It is the anniversary of our first kiss. This being our 8th New Years together we tried to plan something fun! We started the night at one of our favorite restaurants Deluxe! They have the best sweet potato fries and chicken sandwich! Yummy! We then went and visited Ronnie and AJ at the Clarendon! After that we stopped by Kenny and Ashley's adorable house to see some of our friends and then we finished the night at Shannon's! The night went off without a hitch and we got some great pictures to show for it! Happy New Year! I hope 2010 is a year full of new beginnings, success, and happily ever afters!

CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas is my favorite time of year! The whole month of December is full of festivities, traditions, yummy food, and holiday cheer! For some reason it is just a little more special when you have a baby experiencing it for the first time. I know that Harper will not remember this Christmas, but the pictures and memories we've made are priceless! This Christmas was one for the record books! Every minute was cherished and I can't wait for the next! Like his mother, Harper could not wait till Christmas to check out the gifts! He was caught red handed!

Ben and I went to the Splawn's annual Christmas party and had a blast hanging out with our friends! Every year we take mom's famous funeral potatoes, yum! A rare night away from the little guy.

The Sunday before Christmas we went to church as a family. Gramcracker even came! The music and talks were so beautiful, just the ticket to get you in the true holiday spirit!

Christmas Eve was spent at the Scott's! Prime rib, potatoes, pie, the movie Christmas Vacation, and a visit from Santa! A jam packed night with the pictures to prove it. Our little reindeer didn't want to leave the party, he was having so much fun! He fell into a laughing frenzy with Pop Pop and became the entertainment for the evening!

Christmas morning with the Angles... no words to describe it! We open presents when it's still dark out and we all turn into kids again! I am always so sad when our couple hours of chaos is over! It is definitely a tradition that I will hold onto for as long as possible! After the presents were all open the girls made breakfast while the boys assembled all of the toys! I am already looking forward to next year with Timmy and Kris's baby boy! The love that you see and feel with Harper is so amazing, I can't wait to return this experience to them:)

After Christmas Morning with the Angles was over, we spent the rest of the day with the Scott Family. We opened presents at the In-Laws and then headed over to GG's (Ben's Grandma) for a feast! Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, nothing like family! We had lots of laughs, lots of food and lots of memories. Can't wait till next year!

7 Months!

What a big month for Mr. Harper! Right at the end of November, Harper cut his first tooth and he hasn't stopped growing since. Within a week of his first tooth he started sitting up. The next week he cut his second tooth and started crawling! This kid is in a hurry to grow up and I can't stand it! He is now eating solid food, wearing shoes, and exploring every minute of every day! He is fascinated with his sister Lolly, cell phones, keys and remotes. We are loving every minute!

6 Months!

It has been months since I have blogged about the Scott Family. I should catch everyone up in one post but trust me, you do not want me to skip any pictures of Harper! He is so stinking cute and has been up to all kinds of mischief! For Harper's 1st Halloween we dressed him up as an elephant! The costume was way too big but still hilarious.
Just after Halloween Harper turned 6 months and was loving the weather just as much as Ben and I do! We go out for walks and runs everyday! We found that Harper loves being outside. If you know me at all, I don't! So, I am learning to love the outside too!

This November was the salon's first First Friday Art Walk! We had so much fun with our artist, considering it was none other than Pamela and Jason with Encompass Photography! Their art work was amazing! We had hundreds of people come in and see the salon and art! A successful night for all... even the kiddos! Harper and Stella had a very nice date that night! They talked and gazed into each other's eyes all night long! Ha, too funny!

Harper's first Thanksgiving was very eventful! All of our immediate family was out of town but we stilled shared the day with family and friends. We started out by going to my Grandpa Angle's where we relaxed and ate our traditional Thanksgiving feast. Then, we hosted a small Thanksgiving for AJ and Ronnie, and Kendra and Thomas. 6 adults, 3 dogs, and 1 baby, lots of fun and delicious foods!
