I miss my baby belly!!!

Oh what do I have left!
I am obviously obsessed with my son Harper! He's all I talk and think about! My favorite nights are spent with the hubby, Lolly, and baby. We watch him play, learn, and grow with out a care in the world. All my real worries (health, money, etc.) go away! The only thing I can't seem to shake creeps up on me every morning and evening when I stare into the mirror to see what is left from that adorable little being! Yes ladies, you know what I am talking about... the "after" belly! Oh the horror!
My pregnant belly was so cute and big! I strutted that thing around like it was the best accessory I ever owned! And now, ughhh! I knew that this was a possibility so I took all the precautions I could! I bought the fancy creams and oils and applied them religiously (not the ones you can get in stores, the ones you have to find that are like secrets to normal people), I watched what I ate, I worked out, I wore a support band everyday to help keep my skin tight, I even bought an overpriced wedge pillow to again take the stress off of the belly! Nothing worked! Genetics got the best of me! And now I have a brain for a stomach!
I have been reassured that this is minor... "The marks will lighten", "It took you nine months to get like this, it may take nine months to get back", booo! Every single one of those girls who said that have adorable little bodies (post baby) that are averaging a size two! I love you girls, but I'm secretly hating you too! I suggested to Ben to just put the body through the ringer, get all the babies out of the way at once, and then recover officially after. Could you imagine what Ben had to say about that idea... I posted a picture in memory of my cute bikini belly

I feel that way everytime & it gets harder with each baby too! With my last I thought it might never go back. 5 months is magic for me- it finally seems almost normal. Just hang in there!

ok...being that I am 26 and on my 4th child, I have no sympathy for any of you, but everyone is right. The marks of baring children do fade, and I am totally on the same page as you with getting it all over with at once. I was just telling Kate the other day that when our youngest is 18, Greg and I will only be 44!!! That is so exciting for me! And knowing that this is our last really motivates me to get back into shape for some reason.

I miss my baby belly too!!! I wish I took a picture of me in a bikini with the belly. We aren't adding to our family all at once. It will be a few years but it works for us. I can't believe i'm leaving so soon. We have to do something soon for sure!!! Lets get our little guys together.
